Hello James,
As a - in recent time passive - Swedish fan I really got cheered up last Sunday (19 dec) when Thin Lizzy returned to Stockholm performing a fantastic gig for some 1,500 (quite aged, although excited!) fans at Münchenbryggeriet (an old brewery).
The set was Sykes (great vocals!), Gorham, Wharton, Aldridge and Mendoza. The play list included Jailbreak, Waiting for an Alibi, Don´t believe a word, Emerald, The Sun Goes Down, Cowboy Song, Cold Sweat, Bad Reputation, The Boys are Back in Town, Still in love with You and a few others. Encores were Suicide, Are You Ready & Rosalie - 2nd encore was Black Rose (really long version)
It inspired me to search the net for more info. In my opinion the "new" Lizzy is just as good as the original one, although I just saw the farewell tour (and 3 musketeers, twice – once in my place of birth, and once in Avesta, the gig documented on your site!). No doubt the guys really had fun on stage and technically I believe they´ve never been better.
I´m already waiting for the next time!
Merry X-mas
Johan
