Thin Lizzy fans should check out Midge's emotive and moving tribute to Philip called Homeland on Midge's 1988 album ANSWERS TO NOTHING.

Midge Ure toured with THIN LIZZY around 1979 and 1980. During that time he and Philip Lynott also found time to work in the studio, "beefing up" a couple of early Thin Lizzy tracks (Dublin and Things Ain't Working Out Down At The Farm) for a compilation album.

Midge also played on Get Out Of Here (Ure/Lynott) on Thin Lizzy's BLACK ROSE album. He also did some producing, playing and writing for Philip Lynott's two solo albums, including the song Yellow Pearl (Ure/Lynott) which became the theme song for BBC's TOP OF THE POPS show for several years.
